I have officially decided that I do not like synthetic fabrics at all. They are horrible. Unfortunately, my job is working with fire-proof canvas all day, so for now I'll just have to be content with dreaming about being able to use natural fibers all the time!

That said, my creative endeavor today was to work on a homework assignment from my Swiss sewing teacher: the rolled hem. It takes a minute to get the hang of it, but it's a really simple concept.

On a side note, I really need to invest in a camera. Sorry you can't really see anything on the fabric.

But anyway, I'm pretty happy with it for a first try :)
