Today's creation is a sketch of an outfit design, inspired partly by the one and only Chris Martin



(I was going to scan in the sketch and have it look all nice, but then the scanner didn't work. So this is yet again taken in photobooth)

The jacket is to be made after the British Military style, but slightly more tailored. Brass buttons (don't you just love brass buttons? Everything about the military style is fabulous) and matching trimming accent the dark-blue suiting fabric.
My plan for the skirt is above-the-knee, gathered and made with several layers of gauzy organza or chiffon type fabric.
