Première

I first got the idea when watching Julie and Julia; I thought it would be a great thing to do with sewing, if there were such thing as a 'sewing cookbook'. When school ended for the summer, I was trying to come up with ideas of things to do with my time, and I came up with this:

a sort of 'summer of creativity' in which I create something every day and then blog about it.

I knew that if I didn't just make myself do it, I never would. I have no idea what I am going to come up with every day, but I have pretty general terms. Sewing, photography, cooking, decorating, writing, or anything of that sort.

It seemed fitting to begin today, Summer Solstice. There will be two weeks in August that I will not have computer access, so I am still deciding whether to end my blogging on July 31, just skip those two weeks, or continue my 'creativity' and blog about it later.
