Fortunately, I happened to be finishing up a project today, just in time for my first post!
I made a simple, tailored skirt. Muslin is perhaps my favorite fabric to work with. It is natural, easy to sew and I love the simple, earthy look of it! Another thing I love to do is write on the fabric, usually song lyrics or poems. On this skirt, I chose to use the song You Belong To Me by Carla Bruni.
The lighting is not good, so later I am going to have someone photograph the skirt actually on me.
